Hi Everybody! I thought this blog might help to plan family get-togethers or spread family info.

Anyone who is planning a party could shoot me an email with what they'd like to post to the blog and I can post it. That way, instead of having to exchange a million e-mails or have an elaborate phone tree, family members who want to know what's planned can just check the blog.

We can communicate by commenting, too. For instance, if we'd had an entry for today's (lovely) pre-Easter get-together, I could have commented "I'll bring bagels!"

Hopefully this streamlines things. If not, we don't have to use it. Maybe in the future I can add more administrators so more people can post info (other than me). I'll work on it...
